- FEEDBACK -Consumer feedback is of paramount importance in any successful diving and tourist venture. We continuously seek opinions and reviews regarding our locations and logistics in order to present an objective, up-to-date overview.

In simpler terms, we can never have enough feedback. It is our way of assessing how we are measuring up to what our customers expect of us. We can use the feedback we gather to help us decide what to deliver and how to improve. We have a select group of discreet assessors that regularly bring trip reports, crew feedback and up-to-date site info.

WHY DIVE WITH US?

Any concept deserving a Blue Label is, put simply, second to none.

After decades of experience within travel and diving operations, our founders unanimously agree on one fact: in light of the enormous amount of information and destinations to filter through on the internet, an overview is non-existent. Moreover if a diver is looking for that one special exclusive diving experience to fill their yearly holiday.

Ben started diving when he was 18 years old and received his one star CMAS certification in the cold waters of Belgium. When he moved to Tenerife for a completely different job he truly got into the diving business.
After Tenerife, Ben moved on to Egypt, where he did most of his tech diving courses Diving Sharm el Sheikh and Dahab.

Ben has assessed and treated more than 200 cases of decompression sickness. He followed seminars in South Africa, Australia and Spain and has been working closely with different Hyperbaric Specialists and DAN Europe.

In the mean time, while living in Thailand, Ben has done some record breaking dives like a 239 meter dive in Sra Keow cave in Thailand. Also holding the deepest ocean dive at one point with a dive to 202.5m in the Blue Hole in Dahab, which at that time was a world record.

His qualifications reach very far: Instructor Trainer for TDI and SSI. Instructor Trainer for PADI TEC REC. Rebreather Instructor (Megalodon), Level 1 – 3 and a Full CCR CAVE instructor.

Ben is also a training director with TDI and contributes to course development and has contributing author signature on several of the TDI manuals we see today.

BENOIT CAPITAINE

Benoit Capitaine

Benoit Capitaine

Born In Paris – France in 1975, Benoit (or Ben as his friends call him) spent his early life between the big city and his family roots by the cold seashores of northern Brittany. Cousteau’s movies fascinated him as a little boy and he started scaring his mom by holding his breath in his bath at 6. He did his first SCUBA dive in a pool at 10 and loved it. He became certified the following summer at the tender age of 11 in the English channel, and soon took every opportunity to dive with two patient family members. Orientating naturally his studies towards marine biology, he started teaching SCUBA diving at the university club at the age of 19 (CMAS ** instructor), developed the biology and free diving section and set FFESSM national records in monofin apnea distance swim. During one summer break of his Sc Masters, Ben took a summer job as diving instructor in the Caribbean and fell in love with the tropics. That experience changed his life and after a foray into other fields (show business and forestry management among others) he finally decided to leave France for Asia in 1998 to become a full time diving instructor. His love to explore and discover took him to a dozen countries since.

Ben has an extensive experience teaching diving to all kind of public, speaks three languages, has managed several high profile dive centres around the Indian ocean, participated in deep wrecks expeditions and worked on movie sets as well as documentaries. He started technical diving in 2000 and got immediately hooked on rebreathers, starting with the draeger semi-closed units to recently achieving instructor level on the ISC Megalodon CCR. He has now teamed up with Blue Label Diving in Phuket, a place his knows well for having lived 4 years there previously. Form taking kids in a pool for their first dive to making 100+m dives in unexplored caves, Ben is always happy to share his passion. When he’s not diving, he enjoys playing music, do watersports or savour local food.

SIMONE REYMENANTS

Simone Reymenants

Simone Reymenants

Born in Holland on July 6th 1972, has been living in a small village in the north of Holland until the age of 15. It was time to move to the big city as she felt there should be more in this world. At the age of 18 she got stuck in Fiss, Austria to become a Ski Instructor for 2 years. After this she moved back to Holland. Living here and there and having several different odd jobs she ended up in the TV industry as a producer. After a few years she was asked to start working for the international department of the department and moved to Rome for 6 months. When the project ended it was time to move a little further. Thailand. As a lot of people that travel to Thailand for the first time, she was also attracted like a magnet to Thailand and the lush and relaxed live style of a dive instructor. Ergo, she went back home, saved some money and off she went in June 2003. After becoming a dive instructor in 2004 she moved to Fiji which unfortunately did not last very long, but ended up in Grand Cayman and stayed here for a few years. But, Thailand was calling again so she went back, well at least tried to. After a few months she was contacted by one of her old TV colleagues and was invited to work in Kuala Lumpur back into her old job. Traveling up and down between Holland and Malaysia Simone again went back to Thailand for a holiday. This was 2008 and this was the moment she met Ben Reymenants. A few months later the Malaysian project ended and there were 2 choices. 1 back to Holland or 2 move to Phuket to move in with Ben….guess you know which one she made. She is now a TDI, SSI Tec Instructor, Full Cave Diver and Megalodon CCR Diver and running Blue label Diving together with Ben . Simone also is the marketing manager for Blue Label Diving, but you can call her for all other diving business related questions or inquiries and she is more than happy to help you.

We are looking forward to be diving with you soon!

Yours Sincerely

The Blue Label Diving team
